Farm Series Part 11 [Home]

Move in day had come and gone and the young family of four was beginning to get nice and settled in to the beautiful ranch style farmhouse.

First the carpet had to be torn up and replaced. Then the walls had to be repainted in all the rooms. The wooden walls in the living and dining rooms were freshened up with a few coats of white paint that really gave the place a clean and bright look. The ceilings were still the plain brown wood which gave the place a great contrast with the white walls.

Putting her own mark on her own home was a great deal of fun for Hope. Making this home her space, a place to unwind and be at peace, their own little safe haven from all the dramas of the world.

The kids loved the location, with a large front and back yard and room to roam in the back woods, it was a perfect place to explore.

There was a run down pasture next to the home that would be a wonderful place for some animals.

A lot of living, dreaming, and promise came with the place.

It was home.
