October recap

The month of October went by really fast, at least it seemed that way for me! I am really grateful since that means baby time is getting close!  October is for harvest on the farm. When harvest season comes around I have to mentally prepare myself for the lonely season ahead. Long days and one day weekends can grow wearisome but it is only for a season and then I will get my husband back at normal times, yay!  As my husband has been in the field I have been taking things easy and trying out a few new things as well!  I've been busy sewing items for my booth at the local antique shop. My mom found a lot of old cutter quilts for me to cut up and reuse. I've made some beautiful tree skirts, stockings, and ornaments from the quilts. I am excited to drop those off on Sunday! I have also been busy with Christmas present prep. This year I am working on some self-care items to gift.
